This key T206 issue features Hall-of-Fame great Tris Speaker. This is Speaker's only card within the landmark T206 set, and is generally considered his rookie issue. The card-back features a "Piedmont 350 Subjects - Factory No. 25" designation.

Tris Speaker was one of the greatest centerfielders in major league baseball history. Over the course of his 22-year career (1907-1928), Speaker accumulated a total of 3,514 hits (5th highest all-time), 792 doubles (1st highest all-time), and had a lifetime batting average of .345 (5th highest all-time). He won three World Series championships (1912, 1915 and 1920), and was selected as the 1912 American League's Most Valuable Player.
