1952 Berk Ross
Jackie Robinson

This issue featuring Dodgers Hall-of-Famer Jackie Robinson is one of 72 unnumbered cards within the 1952 Berk Ross set. This "Hit Parade Of Champions" issue was the last of two sports trading card sets published by Berk Ross Inc. of New York, NY in 1951 and 1952.

In addition to breaking baseball's racial "color barrier" in 1947, Jackie Robinson enjoyed an outstanding 10-year major league career (1947-1956). A lifetime .311 hitter, he was a six-time All Star selection, a Rookie of the Year Award winner, the NL MVP Award winner in 1949, and a member of the beloved 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers World Series championship team.

This example has been graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. It has virtually perfect corner quality, clean vintage-white borders, and a pristine unblemished surface. Robinson's image and the background scenery are attractively colorized. There are just two finer PSA certified copies.
