1954 Dan Dee
Bob Feller
PSA NM-MT+ 8.5

This is one of the key issues within the 29-card 1954 Dan Dee set. Among the most attractive and popular of all the 1950's regional sets, these cards are very difficult to obtain in high-grade condition as they were issued directly within bags of potato chips and are often found with product stains. Originally distributed mainly in the Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania area, most of the cards in the set feature Indians and Pirates players.

This card pictures Cleveland Hall-of-Fame fireballer Bob Feller. One of the greatest right-handed pitchers in the history of baseball, Feller threw three no-hitters, 12 one-hitters, and led the American League in strikeouts seven times. He was named to eight All Star teams, and won a World Series championship with the 1948 Indians.

The offered example is nicely centered with virtually perfect corner quality, ultra-clean stain-free surfaces, and a stunning portrait- image of Feller. The printing is very bold and sharply impressed, and the coloration is rich and vibrant. Premium quality for the grade.
