1965 Kahn's Wieners
Pete Rose

This issue featuring all-time hits leader Pete Rose is the most valuable card within the 45-piece 1965 Kahn's set. This was the largest of 15 different sets issued by Kahn's Meats of Cincinnati, Ohio, between 1955 and 1969. The cards within this set are unnumbered, and feature players from the Reds, Braves, Pirates or Indians.

Over the course of 24 years (1963-1986), Pete Rose enjoyed one of the most productive careers in the history of baseball. He was a 17-time All Star selection (at five different positions), a seven-time hits leader, a three-time World Series champion, and a three-time National League batting champion. On September 11, 1985, Rose broke Ty Cobb's 60-year old career hits record, and he is still the all-time leader with a total of 4,256 hits.

This example has been graded MINT 9 by PSA. It is a pristine uncirculated gem, with an absolutely gorgeous photo of Rose, fresh vibrant coloration, and not a single smudge, line or blemish. The entire card-front is blanketed with a brilliant satiny finish.
